JOSEPH M. BORSBERRY is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law and his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Sciences from Illinois State University. Joseph M. Borsberry concentrates his practice in criminal, juvenile, traffic and family law matters. Joseph Borsberry has vast experience with criminal and divorce matters throughout Central Illinois, and has handled hundreds of divorce and criminal cases. From the simplest traffic ticket to a murder charge, Joseph Borsberry has 15 years of experience working for you. He has extensive trial experience in state and federal court throughout Illinois. In 1995 he joined the firm of Reynolds, Murphy, & Associates, P.C. in Peoria where he became a partner, specializing in family and criminal law. Joseph M. Borsberry subsequently opened his own office just steps from Peoria County Courthouse where he continues to focus his practice in family and criminal law. He also has experience with externships with the Cook County Public Defender's Office, the Illinois Attorney General's Office, and with the Honorable James A. Knecht, Appellate Court Justice for the Fourth District Appellate Court. He is a former C JA panel attorney in federal trial and appellate courts. Joseph M. Borsberry has volunteered time to Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, Prairie State Legal Services, and the Peoria County Public Defender's Office representing incarcerated criminal defendants. Joseph M. Borsberry has lectured on numerous criminal and family law topics.
